Flexfit Will Sponsor Green 4 Green at ASR 2007
Last year, thegluenetwork.com, in partnership with ASR Trade Expo (Action Sports Retailer), gathered some of the world’s most esteemed artists to transform an 8’ X 32’ plywood wall into a statement on social issues and much needed social action. The “GIVE” mural was an expression of individuals and brands bringing their products, services, funds, time, and talents together to make a difference. The resulting mural was auctioned off and all the proceeds went to SurfAid International and the Keep A Breast Foundation. This year, are we are going even bigger! We are excited to introduce, Green 4 Green: Money for the Environment. A Poker Tournament, Live Art Installation, and Concert to raise money and awareness for the Environment through the Action Sports industry!

thegluenetwork.com presents Green 4 Green: Money for the Environment. A Poker Tournament, Live Art Installation, and Concert, in partnership with the ASR Trade Expo (Action Sports Retailers), and ISM: A Community Project. To Benefit ASEC (Action Sports Environmental Coalition), a non-profit organization uniting the Action Sports community - including industry leaders, athletes and consumers - to affect positive change for social and environmental issues world-wide.
Poker Tournament: thegluenetwork.com will host an industry poker tournament right in the middle of ASR. 40 of the top brands will duke it out to see who will be the 1st Annual Green 4 Green Poker Tournament Champion! All Buy-in’s are a donation to ASEC.
Live Art Installation: thegluenetwork.com has partnered with ISM: A Community Project, which will curate the production of a live art installation at ASR. Sixteen of the top artists in popular culture will join together to create an interactive sculpture that illustrates the human impact on our future environment. The work will illustrate these two questions: “What could the world be like if we change our ways and truly care for the planet?”, and “What will the world be like if we don’t?”.
Live Concert: On Friday, September 7, thegluenetwork.com with ASR, ASEC and ISM: A Community Project, will host the 2007 Green 4 Green concert at the Embarcadero in downtown, San Diego.
When and Where:
Poker Tournament and Art Installation: September 7, 8 and 9 during ASR Trade Expo at the San Diego Convention Center.
Concert: Evening of September 7 at the Embarcadero (Bayside), in downtown San Diego - directly behind the convention center.
